Rules

By engaging in MIROCK Racing events, you agree to abide by these regulations.

GENERAL RULES

  • Sportsmanship: All participants are expected to display good sportsmanship and respect for fellow racers, officials, and spectators.
  • Safety First: Safety is our top priority. All participants must adhere to safety guidelines, wear appropriate safety gear, and ensure their bikes meet safety standards.
  • Event Participation: Riders must comply with event-specific rules and guidelines provided by MIROCK Racing for each race.
  • Bike Numbers: Riders must use the same bike number for all 8 races in a season. Numbers 1-99 are reserved for the top 99 riders from the previous year.
  • Number Display: Bike numbers must be made of vinyl or painted, with a minimum height of 3 inches on both sides of the bike.
  • Number Changes: Changing bike numbers during the year is strictly prohibited.
  • Bike Usage: A rider can use different bikes at each race to score points, but the same number must be used on each bike.
  • Point Tracking: Points track the rider, not the bike. Points cannot be transferred between riders.

POINTS SYSTEM

  • Entry Points: Racers receive 11 points for purchasing a tech card and participating in the event.
  • Qualifying Points: Points are awarded based on qualifying positions.
  • Elimination Points: Points are distributed according to the round reached in the competition.
  • Record Points: Additional points can be earned for setting and backing up records during qualifying or eliminations.

BIKE AND RIDER IDENTIFICATION

  1. Bike Numbers: Riders must use the same bike number for all 8 races.

POINTS CALCULATION AND DISCREPANCIES

  1. Self-Calculation: Riders are responsible for calculating their own points.
  2. Discrepancy Reporting: Discrepancies must be reported within 15 days after points are posted.
  3. Tiebreakers: In the event of a tie in points, tiebreakers include the number of wins, rounds, entries, and qualifying position.
